just a small detail, but i had to post this since i'm sooo damn happy with this purchase. i just bought a roller knife for five bucks at a local hardware store. i can't believe how easily this thing cuts through thick fiberglass mats! and the best part is, there are no airborne fibers!
sooo much faster than using scissors (even good ones!).
for me it's the other way around. i've been using a pair of scissors (great ones) up until now, but i find it harder to make quick cuts without fraying the glass and as for the accuracy i just use a bar to guide the cuts with the roller cutter.
i just picked one up for the skis a had in the press this past weekend and they really do make cutting fiber glass just a dream even the matt stuff ( i use it for tip spacers) i dont think i could go back to a pair of shears now
