TurboCad. I will be using AutoCad on my next design though.

what are the advantages to using a legit CAD program opposed to snocad?

Snocad and Cobalt :o
I use Snocad to get my board shape and I use Cobalt to redraw it since it's bunch of tiny lines coming out of snocad

I can also program cnc equipment, and i already owned it so figured why use something else

rhino. cause that's what i had to use so the guys at my university's cnc lab could handle the files. now i use it for all my designs.

Solidworks. Not as simple as Snocad but more flexibility.
