What diameter fire hose do I need?

Hey everybody. I am in the process of gathering material to build my first press. It will be (2) I beams side by side each with a 6" width for a total of 12" wide in hopes of being able to do a pair at a time.

My question is I cannot find the bladder hose locally and being that it is fairly pricey, any idea of what diameter hose I will need to fit my dimensions?

Ideally, I don't want it too wide and have it bulging out the sides and not too narrow that the majority of the pressure be in the center.

Are you going to be using a cattrack?

If no, then you just need the hose wider than the widest ski you'll ever make.

If yes, it doesn't really matter how wide the hose is.
