Hello everyone - I've made some all wood skis and want to try some laminate skis with a press.

I am hoping to find someone in Ontario that has a press that would like to try a different project. (I want to try out laminate ski making and see how it works before I invest the time and money into making my own press)

If you are interested in any capacity please let me know. If you have a press just sitting around that I could use that would be amazing, and if you want to help out I'd be fine with that too.

Thanks!
Paul

I'm in Buffalo so depending where you are it may not be a far drive. Although crossing the border kinda blows.

Depending on where in Ontario you mean.
I'm in Sault Ste. Marie, MI.
With an incomplete press.

I'm going to school in kingston right now.

I have enough fire hose for a pneumatic press, but I REALLY don't want to make it with the traditional I-beam method.

I'm thinking of buying another TAP bag (www.roarockit.com) in a custom size. I used these bags all summer to laminate about 50+ longboards.

Maybe you can try to contact Coiler snowboards? They're around the Barrie area if I remember correctly. He makes some really cool wood/aluminum DH snowboards.
