I've been out about 14 days on the everydayfatties now.
they are great for everything except ice!!
Due to the lack of snow here this year we have lots of (uncharacteristic) ICE
Carving on the groomers they work great but when it gets really hard they tend to skip (chatter?) when hard on edge.
Pretty sure its a combination of torsional flex, binding flex, boot flex, and old knees.
They are 107 under foot after all, and my knees are still the original 1963 model.
I took the elan M777's out last sunday and they didn't fair much better (slightly less chatter)
I'm still calling them everydayfatties but this year it seems they are not "perfect" everyday.

We got a pretty good dump so I took a powder day from work and went out to play.
Finally got to ski the 186's. I've been putting then off waiting for some snow.
They were a lot of fun and way better on the groomers than I ever expected.
Sorry no pics, as I haven't figured out how to take pictures of myself skiing.
For those of you not familiar with these skis they are 140-105-108 full 2x4 wood core tip to tail.
See my log http://www.skibuilders.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=1407
These were the second ski to come out of my basement. (so probably about page 2)
I got the everydayfatties back last night. The patrollers have been stress testing them for me for the last couple weeks
.
All reports are they were a hit!

Got out for a day of cat skiing with fernie wilderness today.
we had a good group, we also had a photographer for most of the day.
so... I finally managed to get some pics of the everydayfatties in action.
I have to admit I'm not much of a drop kinda guy, but after landing this I tried every one I could

If you get a chance to get to Fernie Fernie Wilderness Adventures is a definite must.
