What are some ways to make the Mold?

Hey my name is Aaron and I am new to the ski building game, and i was wondering what some of you pros have done for creating the mold and what are some methods to make it as painless as possible? also any tips on building skis and snowboards would be awesome.

I think the most useful tip would be to think and read the tons of interesting topics in this forum...
Then use the "search" function... then ask if you're missing something

dude... its better you search and try to understand at max the all stuff behind and see inside your imagination and then if you have a problem ask... we are here to help,, but first search.

regarding your question:
you could do diferent ways, mdf is the most comon, screws... to many ways... for vacum you could go with mdf spaced 20mm and with a 4mm thick aluminium sheet ( 3€/kg in a junkyard). and with a good vacum system , you could buid nice boards...

but first see the investment...is to f...g alot to build a good ones.
