Bitchin Camaro's

Post by icanryme2002 »

I'm quite new to this website and I first learned about it by reading Make Christmas day. :D My favorite ski on your site is the Camaro 8) but the only technical specs you post are the lay up materials, running length, and waist, tip, and tail width. :( Can someone please fill me in on the rest.:?

The bitchin' camaros are the same as the little wings, but with a different topsheet. They have nothing fancy in them, just maple/birch woodcore, fiberglass and the usual base, edges and vds rubber. Wood sidewalls and tips. I made them to be a good quick all around ski. They are fairly short (170cm) and have a good sidecut. They are really easy to ski and maneuver in the moguls, trees and pretty much all conditions. They do get throw around a bit on choppy high speed runs, but I don't ski super fast.

As a sidenote, the little wings are about 1 year old now and I've skied the crap out of them. The tops are bit beat up, but the camber, sidewalls and base are all still good. No signs of delamination either.

I was checking the Little Wings Page but there is no construction information it just leads to a forum page where you talk about the test run. I was wondering about the design specifics like the camber and the core profile and the tip and tail height.
