Press question

Hi everybody,
I am thinking about building 2x5 feet press for building kiteboards. I want to use steele angle Iron 2.5 X 2.5 .25 thick to clamp wooden frame with 5/8 or 3/4 threaded steel rods I am thinkig about using 6 such a clamps every 12 inches of running length of the press.
Is this set up safe and strong enough for 50 psi?
I would greatly appreciate any suggestions
thanks,
kriskris

are you laying up foam cores or woodcores?
for foam i would think you wouldn't need to go as high as 50psi.

Hi Doug
I would like to use wood core. Most likely it is going to be poplar or paulownia wood if i can find it.
