Anyone know of other North American core blank suppliers?
My friends in Quebec no longer operate their wood division, so I am looking for another supplier for core blanks (not profiled). Thanks!
were you talking about Armtex?
Anyway, there is another company called Damco, they supply all of the Isosport stuff I believe.

pretty sure they can sell you blank cores, although I think it has to be in bulk. maybe they can help you out though.....

website
do they have a website or just that email??
I know this is digging up an old thread, but does anyone know if that guy is still making cores? Is that still the right email? I need to get quite a few cores for my thesis work in composites. I tried making a core for a snowboard project at school and it turned out okay, but not near the quality I would need. If anyone else has contact info for a finished core (shaped and profiled) supplier I would love to have it. Thanks.

not to be a dink (I am), but it seems to me that buying core blanks only takes the laminating out of the process. I would think that if you can profile a core, you sure as hell can glue a couple strips of wood together. In my area, home depot sells .75in x 1.5in x pretty damn long in poplar, oak, maple, and pine boards that are already finish trimmed, straight, and free of knots. Worked pretty nicely on my first pair and I plan on rocking the same technique on my next pair. I guess it depends on what type of wood you're looking for as well...
Its a good thing cold smoke doesn't give you cancer.
