Movin along. 6 cores/sets profiled successfully. The shop is also coming together quickly. Milled some yellow cedar myself from an old 70s cut block.
I love yellow cedar. 30 years on the ground and the tree was still prime.

Chris, we tried the new product. It was awsome in out tests with a bone dry piece of wood. Tried it a core, foamed up. It reacted with the 10-12 percent moisture. We did find if we painted the channel with a sealer first it worked awsome. Too time consuming for my liking though. Sold half my order to Camhard, another member. Not sure if he will seal channels first or pour a sidewall block and cut strips? I loved that it was clear and non viscous but we are back to the smooth on pmc-790.

Hopefully I can find time to paint some bases and get some edges on in the next week. Dyin to get the pressing going. Once the shop is built I think I may get a mogul. We get a cnc work done pretty cheap 5 min from my house(small town), but my goal is to do everything in the shop one day. Like to get a donek knife too and start dye cutting bases and veneer topsheets.

Only thing holding me back is a wife, one kid, kid on the way, full time job, bills and a fukc load of debt. Hahahah

Got some bases painted last couple days. Look good I think. One for a board, and one split.

One of my 2 partners, Dean, is a big backcountry guy. Always going going on trips with protographers and writers. Make in us all jealous. Looks like there will be a trip article in West Coast Mountain Culture magazine next month showcasing one of his trips and talkin about our hobby. Very stoked. Steve Oagle , the writer just sent this jpeg of the first page.
