Cnc. No drag knife. Just a endmill bit. Inside/outside tool path on the different 2 different veneers and swapped out the letters. Far from perfect. I tried cutting by hand. HARD to do. I have mad respect for the guys on here cutting the patters by hand. Vinmans topsheets blow my mind. True art.
158cm.29.7-25.5-29.7. Bamboo core 2-7-2. 21oz basalt.some carbon.
early rise tip/tail were 33cm long and 6.5 cm high at ends. flat between inserts.
I really like the early rise with no defined point were the rise ends and the tips start. just a smooth arc all the way through. super playfull, butters like crazy, rips the pow, carves hard.
Lacks a bit of pop. but thats just the physics of these type of tips and cambers. its expected.
Jigsaw, then a handheld edge sharpener ski tool to clean the edge off, then a 90 degree with router, then the router bevel, finish with a light hand sand.
building a kiteboard for a friend. Paulownia core with a bamboo stringer running down the center for the inserts and a little strength. an asym shape along with a pic of the topsheet to be.

Hi everyone
Two weeks ago I've tried the above for kite board rails with a bamboo core. This is the result:
I did sand the rails, no other prep.
The resin was in a vac for like 5mins, PU pigment added, no probs with pouring and cured on a room temp.
I think the test I did before laminating the rest was good. I hate to think how would this delaminate after...
From what I see in the video your stuff is perfect. This stuff bonds to the wood, but you can still pull it off/out with minimal force. You may of had a bad join at the 2 colors, but nothing else I see. I've used the bamboo and this product. Never had a delam yet! After pressing, the shits in in there. Press that sucker.
