Hi guys,
I am doing some skis with graphics (heavy coated paper and tissue paper) on top and a transparent top-sheet over this. However graphics is somewhere missing or in some places transparent, and I dont wish the carbon and other layers to be visible.
I have been experimenting with backprinting with white pigmented epoxy during layup, and even tried to take thin veneer and cover it with white pigment epoxy to sere as background.
Non of the techniques are really easy or give best result.
Has anyone other ideas, and does anyone think that perhaps a material such as thin white fleece fabric could be used under the graphics as background?
Thx
Whiter back printing ideas?

separate process! this stuff has to dry thoroughly. it's not that much work tough. i use a paint roller to apply three coats which usually does the trick.
PS: depending on inks and printer i found that uhmpe topsheets don't want to bond to inkjet prints (nor laser). thats why i do a topcoat with clear epoxy and polyurethane.
