The site looks great, nice work! Hope you get good sales.

I am very interested in the laser burning you're doing for graphics, that's something I haven't seen before. How much does it cost to get that done, and where are you getting it done? I'm going to be doing another bamboo veneer topsheet skis soon I think, and I'd love to do something similar, it looks fantastic!

Laser cutting

Post by grace ski »

It aint cheap, but what is? 120$ usd and hour for table time) I have a laser cutting machine so we don't have to outsource. we wanted to eliminate inks, solvents etc..so it makes sense.

if you want to do one you could send me your "art" and we could do you one, or two of course...

looks great! I really like wood veneers. Couple theses with some bright PE sidewalls and we have new age throwbacks. I have always thought about about using a laser for designs on my veneers, But I only have access to a laser that is enclosed in a work area that is 16" X 16". Keep up the good work and good things will happen.

many of those machines have a front panel that can be taken off, with some magnets you can fool the machine....keep the lid down and slip the topsheet in there, you can get atleast 16" of graphics.
