cad design, snowcad, or boardcraft design
Been trying to use cad, also tried snowcad. and for some reason boardcraft design didnt work on my mac. just seeing what is the easiest way to make the ski shape, core shape as well as camber outlines. any info would be really nice. i searched around and found some info but not right info for the questions i just asked.
The Boardcrafters software only runs on a PC as I recall. I've had great luck with Snocad, Dan did a wonderful job with it...I think if you take a little time to familiarize yourself with it you'll get what you want. I did. I've since moved to different software but that package is still used from time to time when I get too far out on a limb.
"86% of the time it works 100% of the time".
Boardercraft is indeed only for PC. SnoCAD is probably the easiest way to go unless you already know how to use CAD programs.
There are some definite limits to snocad but it does most things well. In the case of mixed camber skis you'll need to use 2 separate files one ofr the camber profile and another for the horizontal dimms.
