i am new to this forum but have been reading a lot of posts on the subject except I have not found much information on making cassettes. what material would be best? Does the cassette have to be the size of the ski or can it be shorter. how much of a gap should there be between the edge of ski and edge of cassette. how deep should the cassette impression be? i understand that all of these dimensions depend on the ski, i am looking for reference points or how you calculate these distances.
could you use plastic or a polyeurothane so it is more epoxy resistant? any ideas would be greatly appreciated
