DraftSight avail. for Ubuntu

Post by OAC »

Just find out that DraftSight (a 2D CAD program) is available (beta) for Ubuntu! Good for me atleast, and maybe some others! :)
DS has been avail. for windows a while now.

I've just installed it and haven't really digged into it yet. But my excitment about it is that you can save files in ".dxf" format! (obviously).

When did that happen? I've never heard about it! And then I've been scanning(at least what I think...:)) internet for a easy CAD for Linux.
I will try Medusa4 aswell! Thanks Chris!

That one I spotted! But I felt it was alittle too much. But DraftSight might be difficult aswell. I liked TurboCad, but it's only for Windows...
