Base Grinder....Score!!

Post by telehead »

I recently purchased a Base Grinder, looks like from the late 80's, to 90's. I am looking for a new stone and having no luck. Anyone know where a person might find something?? The stone is 6" D X 5" L with a 1 1/8" arbor. I would like to retrofit it with a 7" L stone, any help would be great. The only name I can find on the machine is UBT Edge Finisher. Thanks..KT

Are you sure this is a base grinder?

Maybe i am calling it wrong, but yes it is a stone grinder, base grinder, it has a auto feed, and a diamond dresser that can be adjusted for different patterns. I think it is just "old school" with a narrow stone , and all manual setting for the dresser. It does not do edges. It does not use belts.
