matchbooking

I keep reading in posts about match booking cores. what does match booking mean when building a core??

Actually it's bookmatching. It's how you get two halves of a core to be exactly the same. You glue up half the core, then cut it in half and open it up like a book and the sides match.

You get a perfectly symmetrical core that responds the same on each edge.
