Finally finished this press, can I go be sick now?
This took an embarrassing amount of time, and I probably spent too much money but hell, it WORKS! :-) I drilled all the holes by hand with a hole hog, blah blah. It was a cubic assload of work, and would have been impossible without all of the excellent advice here on this forum...thanks to all of you!!

Yeah lol, I seem to remember something about "ship in the basement"
I can sure squeeze some salamis with this one...and man, let me know how that money tree thing works out for you. I'm waiting on a shipment from crown (perpetually) and I'll post up some pics of the first pressings...unless they're more than awful. Like god awful. I can take being laughed at but hell, gotta draw the line somewhere, right? haha

wow, thats a workshop brother!
mate, thats wicked, nice press, nice workshop, nice rocker/camber templates, nice everything you're all set! well done!

Hey Fresh, the beams are referred to as 12-40 as I recall, it has to do with the weight per foot. They're 12 1/2" tall by 108" (9') long by 8" wide. Happy Monkey Snowboards website, as well as this forum has a ton of invaluable info on press building. I wish you the best of luck if you decide to do it, I'd never worked with metal before and was kind of surprised at how hard it is. I like wood. That doesn't sound right...Fresh wrote:brazen, very nice press. can you give me info on the size of I-beams you used along with length. looks ideal for what I want to do!!
