sno cad x issues ----- help!!!!
I am sure this isn't an issue with snocad, so I didn't want to bother dan with it.
I am trying to upload a graphic to see what it will look like on a board. When I am in editing graphic mode I click on the file icon and nothing happens.
Java issue? I know I have the newest run time environment.
permissions issue? Don't even know how to check this.
Internet security thing? All I run is defender and adblock.
I don't really understand how snocad-x even works. It won't run without an internet connection, right? So, do I have an issue because Chrome is my default browser.
Ideas?

No problems here either. Update (if you haven't)
It's a Java Web start application. Which means it's a client app, but with a dependency to a server (eg. grafsnowboards.com). So no connection, no app.
If you have problems after starting it, there might be issues on your local station.
FYI. The site was down early this week.
I running Ubuntu Linux so I have NO problems!
(almost FOG warning on me using Java...

hmmm, guess I gotta send Dan a pm.
Have updated everything. Actually, uninstalled, and reinstalled java and snocad. Made sure defender and adblock weren't blocking it. Made sure firewall wasn't blocking it. But, it just won't work. Won't bring up any dialog boxes.
Wonder if it's cause I'm on windows 7 64bit.

That might be the issue(win 64-bit). Did you install 32 or 64-bit Java?
I always install 32-bit Java. Both on clients and servers. (If you like to know why, we can have a long discussion in some other forum
)
My bet is that Dan only verify it on 32-bit Java.
You better send Dan a PM.
Please post if there are issues.
Good luck
