Air bladder
I have a lot of pvc sheeting, similar to that used in rubber raft, or those huge party tents. It is about 2mm thick with biaxial fibers running through. I have fire hose that lays flat at 7 inches thus needing two lengths of hose for a pair of skis. I have been contemplating taking the sheeting and wrapping it around a larger diameter object three times coating the contacting surfaces with marine adhesive. This will create a wider bladder, plenty thick, that can be used in snowboard fabrication also. Any thoughts?

More pressure. I use three hoses that are I think 4-5" when inflated. I have a 16" wide cavity. I press at about 80 psi on the laminate. With two hoses I would only get about 60 psi on the laminate.BigSkySki wrote:good to know. What size hose do you use. and why do you use three as opposed to two if the cattrack evenly applies the pressure?
