I'm not really sure what the specs on the blade i'm using b/c its just the available one in my highschool woodshop class but i've tried a similar method but failed though i have a feeling its in part due to poor craftsmanship. Another part was the fact i definitely wasn't using a hefty enough blade, i could tell that because i'm using plywood cores and i would watch the blade flex out and then jump in a layer. Another problem the rail i used to slide into the groove on the table was a little loose and so it wobbled a little if i wasnt careful.

In any case i'm looking into using a routerbridge or planer crib since i have access to both for the remainder of the year...
