I'm back on the planer track again. And for that reason a new planer crib was needed. So a jig for making planer cribs was created. And it turned out to be a "inverted" core profiler!...
But the result was the expected (good for me).
I will post some pictures an easy way how to taper (rails etc...).
I've been thinking about this a fair bit lately as my old vacuum mold didn't make it thru my last pair of skis.
(got glued to my bench from the excess epoxy and didn't come off very well!)
Enough of it survived to make a mold for skis for the wifey.
(more on those when I get time to take some pics and post the results. They turned out great by the way)
Using my "simple router jig" to machine a new camber mold.
But also in reverse, shimming up the ends and glueing down the middle, to machine a planer jig for making cores.
I've been hesitant to use my planer to machine my cores as the router bridge has been working so well!
Now its time to revamp the whole process.
My job just went to 4 on 4 off,
(as opposed to 5 on 3 off I've been working all summer,12 to 16 hr days)
so I should have more time to pursue this crazy hobby.
( If I can clear up some of my honey do list!)

You don't even have a legit signature, nothing to reveal who you are and what you do...
Good!
This was not a big thing. It was more like a "I'm-back-with-the-planer" instead of the bandsaw jig. And I had a discussion with Richuk regarding the creation of a planer jig.
