Durasurf (0.75mm / .03")

Post by OnDeck »

Does anyone have a lead on getting hold of some bondable 0.75mm / .03" UHMW in any color other than clear (i particularly want black)? I know Crown has it, but i can;t swallow the minimum purchase (300m).

I'd take any quantity of any color at this point, even scraps.

Thanks in advance for any advice....

I'm pretty sure if you contact durasurf (crown) they will sell you smaller quantities of clear topsheet .031" thick.
It's treated for bonding on one side, so if your planning on putting it into your layup probably wont work.
But as a top sheet its outstanding. Put whatever color cotton fabric underneath.
It's very durable with only slight edge chipping from your skis smashing together.

oops, missed the "any color other than clear".
You don't even have a legit signature, nothing to reveal who you are and what you do...

Best of luck to you. (uneva)
