Edge step size

Post by Alex13 »

What is the tolerance you can allow for step size for edges? I've got 1.2mm base material on it's way from Crown Plastics, and was looking at the edges on skibuilders.com which are 1.33mm step. Will I get away with this?

I think snowboardmaterials.com supplies edges for 1.2mm thick material but I hear they can be slow. I'm running on a time limit here and can't afford to wait months for an order to appear. They are also more expensive than skibuilders.com, though this is partially offset by their shipping to Australia being slightly cheaper.

should be fine. 1/10 of a mm is almost nothing.

Montucky is your base thicker or thinner or both than your edges?
