I have a question, anyone's thoughts would be much appreciated.
Some manafacturers (Arbor, Never Summer) apparantly use a tough, very thin nylon (assume polyamide) layer as a topsheet, which apparantly saves weight. They call it an "ultrafilm durafilm". Maybe this is just a regular polyamide topsheet material formed unusually thin?
Does anyone know where such a material might be available, have any experience working with it, etc?
I've tried isosport, not getting much repsonse.
