I have 6" diameter (10" lay flat) 250 psi fire hose.
I am trying to attatch my air compressor to it, but do not know how to do the air valve inlet.
Any suggestions how to do it? and how i can assess PSI when I am done?

I went way low tech on mine, raided the garage and used a schrader valve from a bike inner tube, compressed between two pieces of galvanized metal with bolts to secure it. I figured it was a temp fix, but 2 years and several sets if skiis later it still holds. I can use a bike pump to set pressure and it will hold steady for a full press. I remove valve stem with a valve tool to empty. I sealed mine with 5200 maraine adhesive.
