hi guys!

i've found very interesting information about increasing adhesion for PE

in general, the idea is to use an Carbon Infra Red Heating Lamps instead of Flame Treatment.

I don't think that study is relevant. They talk about using IR heat to activate an adhesive. Ie appy glue, heat, glue bonds. It bears much more similarity to heating your press in order achieve faster epoxy set times.
This is much different than flame treating Ptex to oxidize it and allow it to bond with epoxy.
