mini fridge motor

do you think i could use one of these as a vacum pump or would the motor be too weak? its a small .5 cubic foot mini fridge.

If it's a regular compressor type fridge, not a thermo electric type. It will work fine, just very slow.

Mine is from a 8 cubic foot fridge and its slow enough tha I use a regular vacuum cleaner to pull the initial vacuum.

Given time a fridge type compresor will pull a very hard vacuum
