Watercolor paper...

Post by telexis »

Hi,

I was thinking about putting some watercolor paper in my ski under a clear base (to have some white pattern), but I am a little bit worry about the delamination. I did a quick test with 30min epoxy and watercolor paper doesn't seem to soak all the way through with epoxy... once cured, it is pretty easy to split the paper in half, there is no epoxy making a link between the two faces.

I am using 140lb paper (300g/m^2)... and only found one lighter weight size (90lb).

I think it is probably fine for small area, but for bigger pattern it might not be a good thing. Any similar experience to what I am describing? Any alternative?

Thanks!

Alexis
