My latest uses a basic PID controller, safety power cutoff switch and a TXT alarm if it heats up past a preset value. I can also check it from my iphon...

Drafting Program
Personally I think SnoCadX is hands down the easist way to get an idea down on paper without any drafting knowledge but if you're looking for more flexibility/power, the makers of Solidworks just released this free drafting program - DraftSight (link below). Good stuff. FREE stuff! SnoCad DraftSight...

turn it into a CNC edge bender 8) Maybe that'll be a project for next year, for now I need to hurry up and get some skis made, the snow's already falling! How about this... Load the edge in the rollers on one side, and load your ski template adjacent. Then as you push the ski through, the main roll...

He sells on ebay and has many other PID/relay options, but I dig this one the most. I haven't hooked it up to the press because I built a reg unit but it controls my Hotbox heati...

Dr. Delam, It's your neighbor to the south east. What's the distance between the feed rollers on your planner? You didn't have any problems with chipping? I used self adhesive skateboard deck grip on my crib to hold the core in place and it worked great. The only way I have found to resolve the lead...
