Just cut out a splitboard that I pressed only to find some serious voids between the sidewall and base material down the center line of the board. Almost seams like air was trapped in the layup. Well, I'm flame treating the inked side of the topsheet and base, not epoxy. But I suppose I'm doing it through a poor understanding of what flaming actually does, and I'm taking the chance that it might improve bonding some. did you rebate the sidewalls for edge teeth? I think not doing the rebate leads to concave bases (at least in my experience). Like he said, this was my first thought.
