Does Anyone Have Any 22oz Triax?
I need enough 22oz glass to build two sets of skis. I was hoping to crank them out this weekend/next week, but skibuilders just sent me an email that they are out of the 22oz. glass I ordered. Can anyone help me out?

I usually mount my bindings 5cm back from the true center of the ski. This works for me, but may be too far forward if you were born prior to the 80's. If you go to a ski shop and look at some different skis you will find that some companies are marking the true center of the ski as well as a recomm...

ben, There is no visible deflection in the press and it seems super solid. As for the core bending, I screwed the core to the top mold for the press and slowly bent it into shape using boiling water and a hair dryer. I am in the process of building a stem box to eliminate the hair dryer step. Hot wa...

Alright, I figured it out. So here it is. I've been working in the ski lab for over six months now and I'm finally getting around to posting. First, I'd like to say thanks to skibuilders and all of the people who post on this forum. I've learned a lot here, it's an increadible resource. To anyone wh...

I'm in Bozeman and just finished my press. It's a pneumatic press similar to the one in the Skibuilders how to section. Haven't pressed any sticks yet but my frame and bladder are ready to go. I'd be willing to let you use my press, but you'd probably have to make your own molds unless you want to b...

Nice work man, those look like they'll handle the cold smoke well, if we ever get any. Noticed your dog tag is from Bozeman. I too live in Bozeman and thought it might be cool to hook up with you someday and compare ideas. I still haven't pressed any skis yet but I'm getting close. I just about have...
