TahoePowder- Thanks for the links, research and help. I plan to further pursue this later in the fall when I have more time out side of work. I have been buried lately. I read the tutorials and they seem fairly straightforward, I just need to dedicate a large block of time to this. I am definitely i...

Hey guys, Thanks for the help and the spreadsheet. What I am trying to do is automate the AutoCAD process. With every ski that is designed, a few other files are generated based off the ski file. I follow basically the exact same steps every time I make a supporting file (ie core, template, etc. The...

Customizing AutoCad (scripts/vba, etc...)
Hi, I was wondering if anyone had any experience customizing AutoCAD to better suite ski design and machining. I am very familiar with using the AutoCAD command lines, and pretty familiar with using the software. I have never created a script, or a macro to run in the program. I know it can be done ...

Kip and Drew's ski building journal
Our ski building dream is finally turning into a reality. My friend Drew and I as well as some of our other friends started planning out ways to build skis back in 2007. The first press we built was a vacuum press that was made out of an old air conditioner, MDF, and masonite. The air tube was posit...

Cat Track wanted
Anyone have a cat track or some square tubing for a cat track they would like to get rid of? We would like a 1 inch square tube and at least 16" long. Our mold is 24" wide so anything between 16" and 24" would be great. I am located in Great Falls Montana. Post in here or send an...

This sounds like a great idea. Be sure to use a backflow preventor (vaccuum breaker) every modern hose outlet has one,or you could contaminate your drinking water and it would be illegal. Another advantage to this would be you could heat your water on the way into the system. I am not sure if 35 psi...

Ski Companies As A Supplier
If you don't have the resources or need to buy in huge bulk from a manufacturer (edges, ptex, etc...) but want more than would be practical through ski builders I thought of going through a ski company. Has anyone done this or know of it happening? I will probably try Burton because they have a fact...
