Europe Supplies

Post by Idris »

I thought there was a European ski/snowboard material supplier was posted somewhere here. I can't find it anymore?

Shipping from the USA either from Skibuilders.com or from PMGear (who I'm working for at the moment) would cost far too much.

I am looking for a source of edges, vds rubber, base and triax glass.....might also be after clear topsheet and UHMW sidewall.

Trying to avoid using uni + biax to make up triax this time around which is all I can find from r-g.de and swisscomposite.ch

Thanks

I'm up over the hill in Incline Village. I was at the PM shop last year. I would like to see how a ski gets laid up. Do you ever let visitors in?

I don’t think they have a webpage for the Swedish division. They sell material produced by Gurit so pretty much everything except edges and rubber. It is possible to by small quanta (approximately 10meters or more) of there standard materials. Do remember though that in addition to the price you get from Montana you will have to pay shipping and customs from Switzerland.

Hello Everybody,

Thanks again for the good response!

I had now added some sidewall material to the shop, for the moment only in black, but i hope, that i will get more colors and types soon.

Abou the topsheet, yes, at there is no 32cm width topsheet in the shop, but i'm waiting for topsheet in this deminsions.

So, i wish you all a good building time, and a great ride!

best regards,
Fabian

ps.:i hope it is ok to post this here, if not, please let me know.
