It looks like I can get a vacuum pump new from someone locally for $75 or maybe a few bucks less. It sounds like a good deal, but I don't know anything about vac pumps so I want to make sure it will work for our needs. Here's the link and details about the equivalent or same pump elsewhere (as far as I can tell)...

this pump will work great, similar to mine but this is a 2 stage pump mine is a 1 stage.
I'm not sure but I think the difference is that with the 2 stage u wount get any oil out from the air outlet. thats what my local "cool and heat"-tech told me.
