So yes I planned to have a top and bottom mold. Both of them I planned to back with a solid layer of 2x4's.

I found some heavy duty straps at home depot. My thought was to use two of them. Start one at either end, rap around the mold until it reached the other side where they could go in the other straps ratchet.

I have calculated that I could rap each strap around three times then connect them. The staps have a working load of 3,333lbs and a breaking strength of 10,000lbs. I understand then with six raps around the mold it could hold 60,000lbs of pressure. Or?

Either that technique or using 1/2" thread rod and angle iron. But I am unsure on how many I would need to have. How much can they hold? Where would I find that out.
