Binding Templates

Post by skixtreem7 »

Have any of you guys tried out inserts? I've been thinking about switching it up and trying it on a pair. What are you guys doing for templates? I'd be using a Look Pivot binding. Any advice? Thanks.

I use them on my skis and one snowboard. They work fine as long as your core does not shift durring press. Mine are tele bindings but the idea should be the same. Get a template from a ski shop or use the one that came with the bindings and go to it. Follow the example layed out in the "how to" section on this site. Good luck!

I have also used screw in inserts, with some success. I don't think they will last more than a couple mountings, but the hold that you get in the bindings is much more solid than the standard binding screw in wood.
