Hi all, long time lurker here. Does anyone have good links or tutorials as to how to familiarize myself with AutoCAD, specifically for ski building (I am not an engineering student so this is my first time using a CAD program, and I have spent a good 4 weeks now trying to figure it out). Are there any videos or links that will specifically show how to design skis on the software? Thanks!

I don't know of any specific tutorials but I have seen some explanations on the ski builders website if you search around. Mainly, the secret to CAD is
just getting in there and familarizing yourself with the commands and then learning how to build geometry. I was very lucky since I started out on a drafting board and had to learn how to build geometry. Tangency is pretty important since there are alot of curves on a ski or snowboard shape.
Finally learning about how skis work is pretty important. Figuring out what sort of concepts make the ski work are very important.
Finally, there are alot of youtube videos on using Autocad. It is all confusing at first due to not knowing where the commands are and how to use them.
