Core Profiling ideas, and air compressor size

Hi SkiBuilders,
My name is Elliot I built a pair of skis 3 years ago in high school with a vacuum bag and cnc machine, and I am now looking at building my own at home. I have welded a cage to press them in and I have the fire hose (much more than I need, if anyone wants to pay shipping or is in central WA and needs some let me know) I have a little 6 gallon bostitch compressor I am currently using to test and I think it has enough capacity.
Anyhow. I am going to start work on my first pair made at home and I need some help figuring out some ideas on how to profile the core, I have a router, but no belt sander, or surface planer and I would love to see photos of some router jig setups for profiling, when I did my first pair I had the luxury of a cnc and free 3d modeling software but now I don't. Coming up with an easy, relatively precise method of profiling cores is the only thing holding me back now so I would love to see how others do it or ideas for something that will get the job done.
