New Topsheet on Used Skis

I have a pair of DPS 112 Wailers from 2013 that I got second hand a few years ago. I try to dry them and keep the stored well, but the topsheet started peeling pretty badly. I've tried a couple times to epoxy the parts that were coming up, but it kept happening.
So I'm trying to add a completely new topsheet over the skis. I'm thinking of peeling up the old ones since they're so beat up, getting someone to print a graphic for me on a topsheet material, and then epoxying it on to my existing skis. Is this a good idea? Does the topsheet need to be heat pressed on with the rest of the layers in order to stay on with use?
