veener wrinkles

I`ve made 4 snowboards with veener topsheet. Two of them have fold or wrinkles where vacuum suction hose was placed. And it is stiff, so I assume vacuum pump sucked more epoxy to this place. At the end of the hose I use teflon cup with slot. Under the cone I place a patch of flow mash and two layers of felt. Under felt is perforated foil and then veener. Anyone with similar problems or solution?

I always place my hose end away from the board or skis. I use the Mesh to allow the air to get to the board.
Here is a photo of what I mean.

I vacuum bag and use figured cherry veneer topsheets. I use a release platen of aluminum flashing, waxed on the side that contacts the veneer's surface, breather mesh over that. Seems to work fine.
