Has anyone screen printed on wood veneer before pressing the ski? I was wondering if the temp and epoxy will mess with the print. I've seen plenty of posts of people screen printing on plastic top sheets but not directly on wood veneer pre pressing. cheers.

Funny, I was looking at this yesterday.
How would you protect it then? a quick spray over with clear polyeurathene or something?
Could this cause issues with bonding to a topsheat?

MM: did it vaporize the paint? or did it just bleed? what type of paint did you use?

I have a simple lettering stencil I made with my wifes cutting machine. It's a Brothers cut and scan. I stencil the lettering on after pressing and just before I poly.

I have done this many times with no issues. You just use heatset ink available anywhere, do your screenprint directly on the veneer, and then dry it with a blowdrier. easy.
Epoxy will not smear it. Do your normal layup.
