First, can I say that I am absolutely not enquiring about your bed time preferences but has anyone tried a full rubber top sheet?

Say 1.5mm outside grade neoprene type rubber?

Would it add significantly to the damping (in a good way).

Views welcome

Glissade snowboards used to do that. Their boards did seem damp, but I pretty much only rode them in pow and a 185cm at that so hard to say what the effect really was.

Ive skied on them didnt see much of a difference. Zia skis are insanely over priced, skied on skis that are $500 still in plastic that skied the same way the Zias did. I get it they make skis to last forever, but really who wants to ski on the same ski forever?

I don't think neoprene rubber will work well as it has cells. Zai use a rubber without cells, this way they can grind the topsheet just like the base during Service to make it look like new.
