Tip spacer & edge

Didnt find anything about this. Is it necessary / better to rabbet the tipspacer as well if there is an edge?

Ur core will be 2mm and u have to rabbet that. U dont have to rabbet anything really ur skis will just be railed if you dont and then you have to grind the sh it out of them.
Depends if ur tip spacer is like 40cm then maybe you have to rabbet.
You dont ski on the tip spacer normally.
