Sublimation Question

Post by Gumby »

Cant seem to find any answers on the web or in the forum, if it has been asked sorry for the repeat question. Can you print your designs on sub paper days before pressing or is it part of the process that should be done fairly close to pressing.

You can print designs on sub paper and sublimate topsheets and bases at any time you want. Just keep in mind that bases are much harder to sublimate and cool down properly as they warp heavily under the high heat.

Same answer. You can print whenever you want. The ink does not evaporate from the paper by itself (at least not for a long time). I've already had a few days pass between printing and sublimating.
