Saw these yesterday. Wow!

I love how different they are from everything else out there. I myself have been working on 3D contoured bases for the past few years and am glad to see other people are also on that bandwagon.

Looks like he is using veneers as his core like a skateboard with no sidewall. You can see his core profile "steps" down and I think those are the veneers cut to different lengths.

Take a look, he has 2 adult models and one childs.
What do you think? It would be great to have a bit of a discussion on the design of these outside the box skis.

Your not "that guy" to me, I appreciate the response.

I guess I should have been more clear. Its the overall shape of the ski with the reverse side cut, small tips and convex bottom together that I find impressive. I have never seen a pair that looked so much like a canoe!

On the GaryWayne website they do make a lot of fluff about the base being "new" technology, which of course it isn't. However the whole package together is definitely a new take on how a powder ski could be built.

I would say highly worthy of a look for anyone exploring new powder ski designs.

Also, I am a not a skier .
