Ski Press for Sale: 1,750$

Post by petemorgan(pmoskico) »

The press is relatively easy to transport but i cannot ship it. It is on cast swivel wheels and rolls really easily.

The ski press has served me well over the years. i have built close to 40 pairs of skis with it.
The mold is flat camber with rocker tip and has the option to add an insert to give the ski a little bit of regular camber. there is an option for a slight tail rise for twin tips.
also the mold is somewhat adjustable length wise but really you can build any length of ski you want with a flat tail.

you have the option to give the skis more or less rocker tip depending on where you place the skis in the mold. i have never given a pair of skis the full blunt of the mold's rocker, it would be a big rocker!

The mold was CNCed on a shop bot router.

I am happy to spend some time working with the buyer to iron out the technicalities of the ski press. There are some "get-er-done" aspects to the press, but it is pretty straight forward. usually takes me about 5 minutes to assemble and inflate during layup.

I really like that the top mold removes so easily and you have full access to the bottom mold.

Let me know if you want any dimensions about the ski press, or any more pictures. I live near Seattle Washington and the press is super easy to move. you could easily pick it up with a smaller pickup truck.
