I think this is a 150mm belt sander. probably 3 phase

The stone is 127mm but can be converted by svst for about 1500, I would guess the belt is 150mm but not sure. this stuff is single phase.
I am looking for a shop ptex welder in particular a wintersteiger polyman, or skid, or montana, or reichmann. Theres a couple out there right now but they are asking a fortune. If anyone sees/knows of one let me know.

Have you used one of the big repair tools? I always hated the Wintersteiger ones. Heavy, frequently clogging, slow, and more difficult to control the amount of material put down. We had a couple of them that ended up in the garbage.
I am way faster with the smaller stick type pistols, even if I have to do the whole ski.

ya pretty familiar with those welders, the wintersteiger is the less reliable one that's fer sure. The montana monty is the king - best i've ever used.
ski menders do good jobs but they have issues as well. i know a lot of techs that prefer them over the shop welders.
on another note - up in vancouver canada someone scored an st-600 for $200 - dang! all it needed was a new start switch apparently.

Here's a Polyman gun on ebay. This isn't mine, I just happened to see it. It's not cheap, but it's at least half the price of a new one.

not exactly cheap, but it does have a feed wheel (which is not necessary, but is good for consistency)

This one just popped up. Says its a single phase unit. It looks like an Allstone to me. Located in Alberta, I'd pay around 500 for it. The asking price of 900 is somewhat reasonable though.

it say in description they can place on the pallet for shipping with freight company. 110v compared to three phase 220 I got a couple hundred only in phase converter on top of the purchase price......
they are rare here on the East Coast

That machine is dual voltage - single phase 110 or 220.
LTL shipping is inexpensive these days. I shipped a 700 lbs machine from cali to toronto canada for $600 - that's over 2000 miles
