Heat blanket dimension

getting ready to order my first MEI blanket and I need your insight. Should i order it as long as the longest ski I plan on pressing (for example 180cm)? What are the potential issues if I use a long heat blanket with a shorter pressing (160cm)? Will I ultimately have to order multiple blankets to match pressing lengths? Thank you.

order a blanket that is longer than your longest ski but that will still fit inside your press. Your laminate will likely be several inches longer than your skis remember. You'll want to cover the full width of your laminate as well.
